The third SF Conference was organized in National Library of Georgian on 14 December 2016. The speakers at the Conference were: Vegard G. Stensrud,Deputy Head of Mission Royal Norwegian Embassy Baku; Maia Melikidze, Advisor to the President of Georgia; Vazsha Menabde, Director of Startup Georgia; Avtandil Abesadze, Chariman of Georgias`s Innovation and Technology Agency; Chairman at International Chamber of Commerce in Georgia; Sandro Vepkhvadze, Head of Business Department of Maestro TV; Dimitri Podoliev, Chairman of Seed Forum Eastern Europe Foundation; Ilia Ghlonti, Chairman of Seed Forum Georgia Foundation. In total 10 companies presented their investment case: Georgia app, Pawwwn, Keepface, Cnick, Vudy, Lfood, Octobot, Gotorify, Joomap, Ethno Karaoke, WASD Entertainment and Braille Teach
Seed Forum Tbilisi and grand opening of IHUB Tbilisi. Today, in total 9 companies from Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan presented their investment cases. The winners are Allads that will participate at the Seed Forum Tallinn and Treepex that will participate at Seed Forum New-York.

Saturday in Tbilisi ! Seed Forum Georgia Pitch training in iHUB Tbilisi ! In total 25 startups (17 from Georgia, 3 from Azerbaijan and 5 from Armenia) applied. 15 startups were selected for the Pitching Training (2 from Armenia, 1 from Azerbaijan and 12 from Georgia).
Boosting Creativity is event about how to think creatively, where one part of event is lecture and second part is a workshop. All events of Boosting Creativity are the same workshops led by different speakers. During the workshop participants must solve creatively some real business case.
“Invention Protection” training about intellectual property at Sakpatenti office – Georgian governmental organization protecting intellectual property in the country. First part of event was excursion in the organization, so participants got information about how and for what this organization works. Second part was lecture led by the CEO of Sakpatenti about protection of intellectual property in Georgia.
The main objective of the study is to establish an overview and analysis of the development in Georgia and specifically, to explore the feasibility of setting up and growing an iHUB in Tbilisi city for start-ups with high-growth potential. iHUB will respond to local needs, and its operations will be based on local strengths.
The first Seed Forum Pitch Training in Tbilisi was held today. There was a great interest of startups and entrepreneurs. In total 18 potential entrepreneurs and companies, all young people between 18-28 years old, participated at the training. Among them one company is owned by 3 women (age 18-19), and other four are co-owned by women. The best 12 are selected for further Seed Forum process.
Two-days training sessions at Bazaleti Educational Center within the Free University of Tbilisi were held this weekend. First part of the sessions was business trainings on management, PR and social media was held. Other part of event was lecture about business law and workshop to create the best business ecosystem in hypothetical country.
The first Seed Forum Conference was held in Tbilisi today. The Ambassador of Norway, HE Bård Ivar Svendsen, gave the opening remarks in the forum and hosted Seed Forum evening reception. In total more then 60 participants took part at the Conference.
